wines by region
Almost every Italian region is well-known for making outstanding wines. Brevi Manu had the difficult task of selecting which of these regions to firstly be considered for our company. These regions include Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardia, Toscana, and Veneto. Apart from this, our company’s intent is far more ambitious: we plan to work with at least one winery for each of the 20 Italian wine-producing regions within the next 5 years.
Friuli Venezia Giulia
The fame of Friuli’s white wine has prompted some people to define them as the superwhites. Gorizia, Collio, and Colli Orientali are undoubtedly some of the World’s most significant areas of wine production.
Lombardia
Lombardia is one of the vastest regions of Italy. Well known for Franciacorta, this region possesses various exceptional microclimates, reflected by the numerous outstanding wines. We are committed to expanding our wine catalog with several wines from this region.
Veneto
Veneto is the first Italian region in terms of wine volume production. Part of its success is due to the high number of autochthonous vines, from which are produced some of the world’s most famous wines.
Toscana
Toscana is the most famous Italian region for wine production. Red wines like Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino have made this region the icon of Italian enology. Its production is focused primarily on red wines, with the Sangiovese grape playing as the main character.
