A sensational discovery in the Veneto region
This winery is located in Baone, in the heart of the Colli Euganei, an area ranging from 160 to 650 feet above sea level. These hills originated from lava flows as the result of volcanic eruptions occurring millions of years ago. This is why the soil is characterized predominately by chalky rocks, allowing the native grapes and the wines they produce a pleasant sapidity.
The Giordani Family bought the winery in 1996. Since then, Carlo Giordani has drastically improved the winery, and has given value not only to Il Filò delle Vigne but to the Colli Euganei Regional Park as well.
