Toscana
Toscana is the most famous Italian region for wine production. Red wines like Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino have made this region the icon of Italian enology. Its production is focused primarily on red wines, with the Sangiovese grape playing as the main character.

Renowned region of old-world wines
Toscana is universally recognized as one of the most famous regions of production of old-world wines. Like the other regions mentioned, this land has been active in wine production for centuries. This began when ancient Greeks planted the first Vitis Vinifera in the VII century B.C. To date, the Toscana region contains 54 native vines. Some of these varieties have been rediscovered and used to produce wine just a few years ago. Similarly to our other regions of interest, we are positive this region will surprise us soon with some new unique variations we have our eyes on.
